The fingers of the right hand hold on to
the product, the thumb is positioned at
the back of the carriage.
Uniformly slide carriage forth and back,
simultaneously apply slight pressure to
product by hand and push towards
blade.
Slices drop on depositing area or are re-
moved from deflector with left hand.
If necessary, re-clamp product.
Once the slicing process is completed
set slice thickness to "0".
Switch off machine.
For safe slicing of remnants we recommend the following:

Place product ends on feeding carriage,
place on carriage rear wall allowing the
original cut surface to points to the rem-
nant holder plate.
For slicing of tied products, first cut-off
tied end by hand.
Swivel product holder with handle, place
behind
product.
If the distance between the product holder and the blade is shorter than
60 mm, the product holder is force-guided and cannot be swiveled up-
wards.

Cut injuries

Do not allow yourself to become distracted. Concentrate on the
task in hand and avoid time pressure.

Never
push product ends towards blade by hand.
