5.6 Product fixation device
Option for VS12 and VS12W
The correctly positioned product support
holds the product in place and prevents de-
flecting and turning of product during the
slicing process.
The product fixation is irreversibly self-lock-
ing on its shaft and is movable across the
full width of the carriage. This way, it can be
positioned on any product dimension.

5.7 Bias cut device
Option for VS12 and VS12W
This device can be easily converted from straight cut to bias cut. For bias cutting, re-posi-
tion bias cut plate.
Transformation to bias cut
Set slice thickness below "0", switch off machine.
Move carriage towards operator.
Using the handle, move product holder away from blade and tilt it up.
Move product fixation device completely back.

Lift bias cut plate up, turn by approx. 30°
and position into hole for bias cut (see
arrow).
Use pin on underside of bias cut plate
for fastening plate in carriage opening.
