1 INTRODUCTION
MV104 is a monitor for the exclusive use in KIT Video 2+ systems
and is available in the 4” b/w and 3.3” colour versions.
Intercom systems are not possible.
MV104 monitor has the following main features:
•
external electronic call with volume adjustable at 3 levels
•
electronic call at the floor
•
adjustment of brightness and contrast
•
door opening with monitor switching off
•
Possibility, with the VIDEODRIN external panel, to control
directly two devices with the additional buttons Q1 Q2. With the
DOMULAR CLASSIC 2+ external panel connecting the relay
box AN 9474, 1 for each monitor, in parallel with the installation,
respecting the terminals nomenclature and without additional
wires (connecting the side IN to the Monitor MV104 and the side
OUT to the video group GV4/70-GVC4/70). Q1 control the
contacts N.O. on AU1 and Q2 control the contacts N.O. on AU2.

FIXING
Fix the supplied mounting bracket as indicated in the drw.

so that
the hole coincides with the embedding box (if present).
If using an art. 503 box, refer to the self-threading screws holes that
help centering.
For a correct vision it is important to respect heights from
the floor.
Connect installation wires to the extractable terminal board: names
of the terminals are shown on a label in the bottom of the monitor.
Connections will be made as indicated in the installation diagrams.

KNOBS AND ADJUSTMENTS – USE
Knobs and adjustments
All knobs/adjustments are available on the monitor front panel and
left side, see drawing

1) RINGER
VOLUME
ADJUSTMENT
It allows to audio adjustment on three positions: high, medium,
mute indicated by the lighting LED situated on the front.

In colour monitors it adjusts colour saturation

Pressing this button the monitor lights up from the inside.

When picking up the handset it automatically connects the
speech

It is necessary to pick it up to start a conversation.
8) BUTTONS (2) FOR AUXILIARY SERVICES
If properly connected, they are used to activate other device such
as stairs light, electric gates, auxiliary cameras, etc
.
Use
When a visitor presses the external call button, the monitor rings and
lights up; the image appears automatically.
If the tenant does not answer the monitor switches off after 80sec.
If he wishes to answer it is sufficient to pick up the handset and
speak.
If he wants to open the door it is sufficient to press the appropriate
monitor button.
Upon pressing door opener button, the monitor switches off.
Adjust ringer volume at the wished volume.
Adjust contrast and brightness of the image for the best vision.
In order to see what is happening outside, press the self-lighting
button; the monitor lights up and will switch off automatically after
about 80 sec.
With the Jumper on position mute, minimum ringer tone,
it will be light up the LED situated in front of the monitor,
near the button AP and, there isn’t sound for the calls at
the floor and also for external call.
To use the additional buttons Q1 Q2 on the monitor as free
contacts, in Video Kits with modular panel and without the aid
of relay box AN9474, please proceed as follows dwg 5:

To section with a cutting nippers the 4 resistances situated
on the back side of the monitor, as shown on the label

To shift the Jumper JP6 on the position 2-3
−
To connect the buttons using the proper terminal board A-A
B-B situated on the back side. Peak load contacts 24V
500mA.

Temperature estreme ( calde o fredde ) possono
accorciare la vita dei dispositivi elettronici e possono
anche distorcere o sciogliere alcune plastiche o
possono causare malfunzionamenti.

e cade potrebbe non funzionare. I circuiti stampati
potrebbero rompersi e le plastiche esterne non
sopravvivere all’impatto.

on usare o immagazzinare in luoghi troppo sporchi
o polverosi. L’elettronica potrebbe essere
danneggiata. Le parti mobili si consumerebbero
prematuramente.

on usare solventi chimici o solventi forti per pulirlo.
Sarà sufficiente passarvi, di tanto in tanto, un panno
inumidito.
