15. Dual-Gas Monitoring

Overview

The D-GAS module extracts gas samples from animal breathing gases. It continuously measures
CO2 and one of five anesthetic agents (isoflurane, sevoflurane, enflurane, halothane and

desflurane) with manual selection of the specific agent type. All measured values as well as
derived values are passed to the Veterinary patient monitor.

BIONET offers the following D-GAS modules. BDGA Sidestream Analyzer (Bionet).
