Operation Log
The Operation Log documents the instrument name, serial number, software version, run name/number and
operation mode. The Operation Log also displays all the operations performed by the instrument. As an operation is
performed, the log is updated.

Welcome Menu
The Welcome menu displays the selected mode of operation:
Open Mode
Programming involves staining slides without labeling the slides or reagents. The software generates a Slide
Layout Map, and a Reagent Layout Map for the user to follow. Alternatively, user can select the manual map
option for reagents and slides.
2-D Matrix Mode
Programming involves labeling the slides and reagents; the software scans the slides and reagents. User may
load the slides or reagents in any order.
Mixed Mode
Programming involves selecting either labeled slides or labeled reagents. For the option not labeled the software
will generate a layout map for the user to follow. Alternatively, user can select the manual map option for
unlabeled reagents or slides.
LIS Mode
Requires a software patch for uni- or bi-directional communication between the intelliPATH
instruments and the user’s Information Technology System. The system is XML and HL-7 compatible.

Instrument View
This button allows the user to either view the status of a single instrument or multiple connected instruments.

Start Programming
The Start Programming button is used to initiate a staining run. Clicking on the
Start Programming
button will
display the Prepare Case List dialog box that will indicate Start Time and Estimated End Time after a run has started.
