Reagent Manager Module
The Reagent Manager module is used to create new or to modify existing reagents. Reagents set by Biocare Medical
cannot be edited or modified by the end user.

Reagent Groups
, listed on the left side of the screen, are standard headings for IHC staining protocols. The following
Reagent Groups are available in the intelliPATH software: Pre-Treatment, Block, Antibody, Negative Serum, Secondary,
Tertiary, Chromogen, Counter Stain, Ancillary, and Mix. Click to highlight the reagent field of choice.

You can expand or collapse the Reagent Manager Menu items by checking the
Expand All
box on the bottom left side
of the screen.

The software has assigned default colors to the Reagent Groups.

The
Protocol Manager
and
Print Label
links are available on the bottom side of the screen.

Highlighting a group in the Reagent Group list will display a list of reagent group members in the upper right of the
Reagent Manager screen. Use
Search
or
Sub Group
field to narrow the reagent list results.

Highlighting a reagent in the Reagent list, will display information about the reagent in the
Reagent Details
box in
the lower right side of the Reagent Manager screen.
Note: The intelliPATH automatically generates a Short Name for reagents. To change the Short Name, highlight the Short
Name field, click Delete on the keyboard, and then enter the desired Short Name.

Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen to import (down arrow) , add (plus sign), edit (pencil and tablet), or
delete (X mark) reagents. To change the information about a particular reagent, make the changes in the
Reagent Details
section.
Note: The import button will display the
Non IP Reagent Master
window, where a list of all non-IP reagents for the
selected reagent group is displayed.
To exit the screen, click
Close
.
