To avoid heavy buildup and dust on the antenna, the sensor should not be mounted close to the
dust exhauster inside the vessel.
To protect the sensor against buildup, particularly in case of strong condensation, air rinsing is
recommended.
Metal-jacketed lens antenna
The NCR-80 with metal-jacketed lens antenna is equipped with a rinsing air connection as a
standard feature, see following graphics.

Plastic horn antenna
The NCR-80 with plastic horn antenna is optionally available with a rinsing air connection. The
mechanical configuration differs according to the flange version, see following graphics.
