4 Transport and handling section
4.1 Transport, handling and storage
CAUTION: Disseminate the instructions described in this chapter to all personnel
involved in the Transport and handling of the machine.
For safety reasons, the moving parts must be locked before Transport.
4.2 Packaging and Transport
The machine is packed for Transport directly from the Manufacturer.
It is supplied with a cardboard box and two wooden sleepers (1O cm height) fixed under the
lifting platform with special screws. In addition to the lifting platform, the package also
contains the ascent ramp (Figure, [1]) and the wheel stop tube (Figure, [2]).

The machine is tested and in perfect condition.
AT CUSTOMER'S REQUEST AND IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE LIFTING PLATFORM DURING
TRANSPORT AND HANDLING A WOODEN CASE PACKAGING IS ALSO AVAILABLE, WHICH HAS AN
ADDITIONAL COST COMPARED TO THE STANDARD FREE PACKAGING
4.3 Unloading and handling
All lifting and unloading operations must be carried out in compliance with current safety
regulations.
The cardboard and wooden packaging must be lifted using a forklift truck, by inserting the
forks inside the wooden supports.
