VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER:
The full 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is
stamped on the steering head. Always give the full 17-digit
number when ordering parts or making any inquiries about
your motorcycle.
Example
VIN: 5J11MBJ114W000004
The engine and transmissions identification numbers are
assigned to the vehicle at the time of assembly and re-
corded. This assigned set of numbers becomes a perma-
nent part of the motorcycle’s identification.
The engine identification number can be located on the
upper left of the engine case and the transmission identifi-
cation number is found on the right underside of the case.
