settINg the operatINg temperature 

1. To view the current set temperature, press 

either the UP or DOWN ARROW button. 
The set temperature will be displayed and 
is indicated by a small point in the top 
left hand corner of the display.

2. To 

increase

 the set temperature, press 

and hold the UP ARROW button. The set 
temperature will momentarily be 
displayed and then the temperature 
display will begin to increase. Continue to 
press the UP ARROW button until the 
new set temperature is reached then 
release the button. To fine tune the 
temperature settings, a single press of 
the UP or DOWN ARROW keys will 
increase or decrease the set temperature 
by 0.1ºC. 

3. To 

decrease

 the set temperature, press 

and hold the DOWN ARROW button. The 
set temperature will momentarily be 
displayed and then the temperature 
display will begin to decrease. Continue 
to press the DOWN ARROW button until 
the new set temperature is reached then 
release the button. To fine tune the 
temperature settings, a single press of 
the UP or DOWN ARROW buttons will 
increase or decrease the set temperature 
by 0.1ºC.

4. Once the set temperature has been changed, the unit will heat or cool to the new set  

 

 temperature. 

Note:

 The ceramic beads will take some time to equilibrate to the set temperature; therefore it is 

recommended that the unit is set up in advance to allow time for the required temperature to be 
reached. To speed up cooling times, the bucket containing the ceramic beads may be stored in a 
refrigerator prior to use.
