6. Initial use
• Check the device for damage.
Inserting the batteries
• If present, pull the battery insulating strip off the battery compartment cover or remove the battery’s protective
film and insert the battery according to the polarity.
• The batteries are located in the mirror. Turn the normal side of the mirror anti-clockwise and remove the cover
from the mirror. Then open the battery compartment lid. Now you can remove the plastic insulating strip or
change the batteries.
Operation
• To switch the light on and off, briefly touch the touch sensor on the normal mirror surface.
• To adjust the light intensity, touch the touch sensor until you reach the required brightness.
• The standard side or the magnified side of the mirror can be used. Simply rotate the mirror to the required side.
The light switches off automatically after 15 minutes.
7. Cleaning and maintenance
• Switch off the device each time before cleaning.
• First unplug the device and allow it to cool off. Then you can clean it with a soft, slightly moistened cloth. Then
wipe it dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• Only clean the appliance in the manner specified. Fluid must never be allowed to enter into the
device or accessories.
• Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
• Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes.
8. Disposal
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful
life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of the device in accord-
ance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions,
please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
