Accessory assembly
WARNING
THIS ACCESSORY AND ALL OPTIONS ARE HEAVY!
To avoid risk of strain injury, NEVER lift the accessory or
any options by hand alone when handling the components
or assembly. Use proper lifting device and seek assistance.
When accessory is off the ground, NEVER be underneath
the accessory. Serious injury including possibility of death
could occur if accessory were to drop suddenly.
Always wear protective shoes and appropriate gloves
when manipulating or using this equipment.
Temporary removal of the bumper:
Remove the bumper (item C), the right support (item A)
and the left support (item B), removing all the hardware
(item D, E, F, G) put these parts aside for later use.
Installation of the hitch brackets:
Install the right hitch bracket (item 1) and the left hitch
bracket (item 2) under the bumper support plates as
shown.
Bolt in place using six hex bolts M12 X 1.75 X 35 GR10.9
(item 3) and six 1/2 "lock washers (item 4). Do not fully
tighten at this stage
, the bolts will be tightened at the
hooking step when of the first hooking.
CAUTION
To avoid battery damage and any event that may
result.
Make sure that the bolts (item 3), once fully tightened,
do not constrain the battery inside the frame, or come
into contact with the battery in a way to damage it. If this
is the case, use shorter M12 x 1.75 bolts of grade 10.9.
Make sure there is a minimum of a one thread is
protruding inside the chassis for adequate tightening.
