GMap
GMap is a monitoring application for FireClass systems.
A
Symbol
must be assigned to each device on the system. The device
symbols must then be assigned to the
Background
(plan) of the protected
premises to create a
Map
.
When an event occurs the
Map
associated
with the device that generated
the event (figure 24) will be shown, and will indicate the event type and ex-
act location.
The bottom row of the
Map
window will also show the:
Ø
Date
and
Time
of the
event;
Ø
Customer Name
;
Ø
Event Type
(Start, Pre-alarm, Warning, Alarm or Fault);
Ø
Loop
,
Type
,
Address
and
Label
of the device that generated the last
event.

If several events occur, you will be able to view the Loop, Type, Address,
Label and Event Type of each device, by positioning the cursor on the rele-
vant Symbol.
