Short circuit (low bias): This phenomenal usually indicates a bad cable with
short loop.
Normal (normal bias): The IEPE circuit is working normally.
Open circuit (high bias): If there is no sensor connecting to this channel, the
bias check show “Open”. If an IEPE sensor is connected to this channel, open
circuit usually means a broken cable.
Select “Power” to check the IEPE power supply of your Impaq Elite. To conduct the
checking, discount all sensors and select Verify. In normal condition, the power
supply of all channels should be around 24.7 Volts. If the result shows abnormal
voltage levels, please contact Benstone Instruments for assistant.
Acceleration:
Selecting Acceleration will display acceleration in the Max, Min,
Average windows with Acceleration being
displayed on the graph area.
Velocity:
Selecting Acceleration will display
acceleration in the Max, Min, Average
windows with Acceleration being displayed
on the graph area.
Displacement:
