The Tools menu contains several useful utilities, including Calibration, IEPE check,
Note and playback.
Calibration
:
Selecting Calibration is for calibrating a sensor (adjusting the sensitivity).
When you require sensor calibration prior to measurement, this procedure is used.
To begin:
6.
Open the Calibration table via the [
Navigation Keypad
] from the [
Tools
]
menu.
7.
Enter the frequency value in the input box. Typically this is 1000 Hz.
8.
Press Acquire signal.
9.
Input the new calibration values for the calibration signal. In the example of
acoustic calibration, the input value is 1 Pa, but your value may be different
due to equipment and calibration.
10.
Press the [
OK
] key to confirm the calibration table. The new sensitivity
value of each sensor will be assigned to the engineering unit table
automatically.
IEPE Check
This function help to check the power and the bias voltage of your IEPE sensors’
circuit loop.
Select Bias will display another window, which requires you to connect all your IEPE
sensors to the input sensors.
Select Verify to conduct the checking, and then the system will show the result in a
window, which may indicate one of the following conditions.
