Connecting the PC DVI input
DVI to HDMI adaptor cable

1. Connect the DVI video output of your PC to the HDMI 2/DVI or HDMI 1
terminal on the display using a DVI to HDMI adaptor cable (not provided).
2. Connect the DVI audio output of your PC to the display's DVI-AUDIO INPUT
L/R input terminals using a suitable audio cable (not provided).
3. Press
INPUT
and switch the input source to
DVI 2
(if the HDMI 2/DVI terminal is
used) or
DVI 1
(if the HDMI 1 terminal is used).
4. Set the
HDMI/DVI Input
option in the
Setup
menu to
PC
(
see page 30
).
To view video image from the HDMI 2/DVI or HDMI 1 input, press
INPUT
and
select
DVI 2
or
DVI 1
.
Both HDMI 2/DVI and HDMI 1 input terminals support DVI connection. However,
only the HDMI 2/DVI terminal provides corresponding audio input (DVI-AUDIO
INPUT L/R). Therefore, it is recommended that you use the HDMI 2/DVI terminal for
DVI connection.
When connected to a PC, you should adjust the resolution in the display properties
of the computer to closely match the native resolution of the display (for example,
1920 × 1080 @ 60Hz). See

"Setting up appropriate output
resolution on PC" on page 33
on how to set up PC video output. If necessary,
update the driver of the PC graphic adapter.
