HEATING (OPTION)
The forced air heating system operates on the boiler principle, and
is fuelled from the starboard and the port diesel fuel tank.
The heating controls are located in the saloon and the fore cabin.
The heating system is protected by a fuse on the electrical panel in
the machinery space (accessed via a hatch in the wheelhouse).
Please refer to the user manual provided for information on using
and maintaining the heating system.
ICEMAKER (OPTION)
Before use, open the freshwater inlet valve in the wheelhouse
bottle locker.
This valve should always be fully closed when wintering the boat.
In the event of electrical problems, check the circuit breaker on
the electrical panel.
Please refer to icemaker user manual for operating and mainte-
nance instructions.
WATERMAKER (OPTION)
Obtaining good quality freshwater from the water maker requires
the use of good quality seawater, so do not run the water maker
near the coast or in harbour.
To use the water maker:
- Open the seawater seacock (in cockpit locker).
- Engage the circuit breaker in the machinery space.
Use the curtains to protect the interior of your boat from UV rays
as much as possible.
Make sure it is kept clean and the bilges dry.
Cleaning and maintenance of the cushion fabrics and of your boat’s
upholstery varies according to the materials used: consult a profes-
sional before any such work is undertaken.
Rinse the varnished internal woodwork with fresh water and a
liquid detergent.
Then polish with a chamois leather.
warning
The heating exhaust outlets in the starboard
side and the port side of the hull give off heat
– take care not to burn the fenders!
attention
Do not obstruct the forced air heating out-
lets inside the boat.
Do not crush the heating ducting in the va-
rious lockers.
The icemaker works on 220 V only,
so to use it the shore supply must be connected
and switched on,
or the generator (option) must be running.
Air and ventilate the inside of the boat
whenever the weather allows.
Lift the cushions and soles
when the boat is unoccupied.
attention
Wait for the heating fan to stop before swit-
ching off the main battery switch (risk of se-
rious damage).
Please refer to the water maker user manual for operating and
maintenance instructions.
Check the freshwater level in the tanks when using the water ma-
ker.
The water maker system is provided with a 3-way valve for seawa-
ter inlet and freshwater rinsing after use.
