3.8.2 Secure the Rails
REQUIRED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
•
1/8 in. Allen Wrench
The rail splices should be secured to the beams using the ⅛ in. Allen fasteners from Hardware
Bag No. 3. They only need to be secured at the rail joints. There are four screws needed for
each joint.

3.9 Set the Rack Spacing
REQUIRED TOOLS & EQUIPMENT
•
3/16 in. Allen Wrench
• Bridge Rack
• Clamp
Use the bridge rack, which is located in
the miscellaneous box, to set the spacing
between the racks. Hold the bridge rack
in place with a clamp to ensure proper
spacing between racks while tightening the
3/16 in. Allen bolts. Additional clamps may
need to be used to hold the rack in place
when aligning it.
