Hardware Description

Chassis Overview

Chassis Overview

The G2 Series 1U Router Control Panel is a shallow 1RU 19” rack-mount chassis
(approximately 56 mm deep). Both the LCD and LED panel product versions have
connectors at the rear and an array of push buttons plus a rotary control on the front.

On the rear, there are two DC power inlets and an Ethernet connector. The control panel has
a dual-redundant power supply arrangement with two external power supply modules,
which supply DC power from AC main supplies.

The control panel chassis is has no forced-air cooling.

For chassis dimensions, see Appendix A.5 “Unit Dimensions” on page 31.

The operational function of all push buttons and rotary controls is determined by the
software loaded into the panel and by a user-defined control panel configuration.
