2 Welding
2.1 Preparation of belt section to be welded

Recommendation: Heat up the belt to ambient temperature, to ensure the best possible
welding result is achieved.
2.1.2
Cut the ends of the belt profile to be connected flat and at an angle. Consider a welding
loss of 75 mm. Drill out the tension member at the belt ends by approx. 5-10 mm.
2.2 Preparation of guide unit
2.2.1
If the clamping holder for the vice or a screw holder for table mounting is used, this
must also be mounted accordingly on the base plate. Before these clamping device aids
can be mounted or removed, the stop nuts for the toggle mechanism end point (D) must
be unscrewed and then the toggle mechanism unit (H) removed.
