2.3 Welding process
2.3.1
Insert the welding paddle into the gap be-
tween the belt ends.
2.3.2
Slide toggle mechanism forward and melt
open the belt material until the resistance is
too great or the red marking just under the
metal cover disappears.
• Open toggle mechanism and remove paddle quickly.
2.3.3
Slide toggle mechanism up to end point.
• Allow belt to cool down for roughly 5-10 minutes in the guide pliers.
