4.2 Operation Elements
Figure 4.2: Operation Elements
19. Rotary switch 'Measurement function', to se-
lect the desired measurement function
20. 'RCD Test' key to start the RCD test, the RC
circuit breaker is triggered
21. Contact electrode 'PE'
22. Start/On' key to start all tests. For RCD tests,
the RCD is not triggered.

24, 25, 26 Measurement connection sockets
4.3 Measurement connection sockets
-Only use the original test leads included in the
scope of supply or appropriate safety measurement
accessories!
-The maximum admissible voltage between the
measurement connections (rating voltage) is 500 V
AC/DC! The maximum admissible voltage for the
measurement connection sockets towards ground
is 440 V AC/DC!

4.4 Acoustic Signals
Acknowledgement Signal
This is a brief sound audible for example when start-
ing a test. It is audible as acknowledgement that the
pressing of a key has been detected.
Error Signal
The error signal consists in two brief sounds. It in-
dicates the presence of an error and that a function
cannot be carried out at present.
