Conductor losses
Take into account the voltage drop on the supply line when planning a system. Avoid the voltage drop being
so high that the supply voltage at the box lies below the minimum nominal voltage.
Variations in the voltage of the power supply unit must also be taken into account.
Planning tool for EtherCAT P
You can plan cable lengths, voltages and currents of your EtherCAT P system using TwinCAT 3. The
requirement for this is TwinCAT 3 Build 4020 or higher.
