Reset Button
You use the Reset button to:
• Enter Setup mode
When you press the Reset button, the RAC enters Setup
mode and lights the amber Setup LED. In this mode, you can
enter configuration data at the monitor:: prompt using the
Console terminal, before booting the operational software.
• Reset the RAC
When you press the Reset button and hold it for 3 seconds,
the Stat LED flashes and the RAC begins to execute its
power-up diagnostics. If you press the Reset button again
within 5 to 10 seconds, the RAC enters Setup mode and
waits for configuration information to be entered.
Status and Alarm
LEDs Two sets of Status and Alarm LEDs (one set for each WAN port) display
network activity during system operation (
Table 1-2 ). Technical Support
personnel can use this information to diagnose problems.
