Installing the Model 8000 Remote Access Concentrator
Connecting a Console Terminal
You use a console terminal to access the ROM monitor and boot the RAC
for the first time. To connect a console terminal to the console port located
on the rear panel of the RAC:
1. Connect one end of the cable (provided in the accessory kit)
to the console terminal’s I/O connector, using a DB-25 DTE
drop adapter (
