FIELD OF VIEW
The width of the measuring field can be limited with the FIELD OF VIEW function. All measuring values
outside the set measuring field are ignored. This is particularly useful if, for example, the measuring field
contains an unwanted object that should not be detected.
The measuring field is adapted by software so the width of the visible laser beam does not change.
5.7.1
Manual limitation of the measuring field
For full flexibility, every value in the measuring field can be individually adjusted. The modified measuring field
need not be symmetrical. Even a single limit, e.g. LIMIT LEFT, can be restricted.

NOTE
The LIVE MONITOR mode can be used to find the reference point.
This function displays the
LEFT EDGE RISING of objects.
Now an object is slowly pushed toward the presumed zero
point. The zero point is reached when the value 0 mm is shown on the sensor display.
