Figure 5-13. Analysis Screen, FCR Tab
Field Current Step Response - Increment of FCR Setpoint (A). These two fields indicate the increase that
occurs to the FCR setpoint when the corresponding Increment button is clicked. The "% increase" field is
used to set and indicate the percentage (0 to 10%) that the FCR setpoint is increased when the Increment
button is clicked. The "FCR Setpoint =" field is read-only and indicates the value of voltage that corresponds
to the "% increase" field. The FCR setpoint changes to this value when the adjacent button is clicked. When
clicked, the Increment button changes from gray to red to indicate that the FCR setpoint has increased to
the value in the "FCR Setpoint =" field.
Field Current Step Response - Decrement of FCR Setpoint (A). These two fields indicate the change that
will occur to the FCR setpoint when the corresponding Decrement button is clicked. The "% decrease" field
is used to set and indicate the percentage (0 to 10%) that the AVR setpoint is decreased when the
Decrement button is clicked. The "FCR Setpoint =" field is read-only and indicates the value of current that
corresponds to the "% decrease" field. The FCR setpoint changes to this value when the adjacent button is
clicked. When clicked, the Decrement button changes from gray to red to indicate that the AVR setpoint has
decreased to the value in the "FCR Setpoint =" field.
PF Tab
Figure 5-14 illustrates the settings, sensing values, and alarm signal indicators of the PF tab. Each setting
of the PF tab is described in the following paragraphs.
Power Factor Step Response - PF Steps. These two buttons are used to add and remove up to three power
factor setpoint indexes. If three setpoint indexes exist and the Remove Step button is clicked, the third step
(index 3) is removed. If two setpoint indexes exist and the Remove Step button is clicked, the second step
(index 2) is removed. If only one setpoint exists, the Remove Step button is disabled.
Power Factor Step Response - PF Setpoint Value. The read-only value of this field indicates the power factor
setpoint assigned at the Setpoint tab of the Setting Adjustments screen. If a change to the power factor
setpoint has been made at this screen, then the PF Setpoint Value updates to reflect the change.
Power Factor Step Response - Step Value Change, PF Value. A step value change to the power factor
setpoint can be made using either of two methods. Either a new value can be entered into the PF Value field
or the pointer of the PF Step Response Settings dial can be adjusted interactively with your computer mouse.
