Cleaning
• First, place the object to be cleaned into the ultrasonic cleaner.
The scope of delivery includes various accessories. Depending on the object you want to
place into the water tank of the ultrasonic cleaner, the corresponding accessories must be
used.
A
B
C
A CD holder and distance ring for cleaning of max. 2 CDs/DVDs/Blu-ray simultaneously
The CD holder can be used together with the distance ring to clean two data carriers at the
same time. Never place several data carriers on top of each other!
B Basket
The basket is ideal for smaller objects; it furthermore prevents direct contract of the object
with the stainless steel bowl of the ultrasonic cleaner.
C Wristwatch holder
This holder is not only used to fixate the wristwatch in the water tank of the ultrasonic
cleaner but can also be used to ensure that the watch is out of the water (only the strap will
be cleaned in this way).
• Then, fill clear, clean, cold water into the water tank of the ultrasonic cleaner so that the
surfaces to be cleaned are covered with water.
Never operate the ultrasonic cleaner without water; this will damage it! The warranty
will be void!
Never exceed the “----MAX” marking for the maximum fill level!
Only pour water into the water tank and never e.g., over the control elements on the
front, the power cable or the power plug!
For persistent dirt can, you can use an additional cleaning agent approved for ultrasonic
cleaners. Always observe their instructions for use or dosing and safety instructions.
• Close the transparent cover.
When cleaning larger objects, you can leave the lid open during operation. In this
way, you can clean the object e.g., on one side first and then on the other side.
• Connect the ultrasonic cleaner via the power plug to a proper mains socket of the public grid
only (wall socket). The display lights up and shows the cleaning duration (default setting 180
seconds).
• By pressing the “SET” button (3) briefly, you can select the desired cleaning duration (180 s
-> 280 s -> 380 s -> 480 s -> 90 s -> 180 s -> .....).
• Start the cleaning process by briefly pressing the “ON” button (2). The green display LED (1)
lights up. During cleaning, you can hear slight chirping sounds (“ZIZI.....”); the device works
normally.
In the display, the seconds are counted down to “000”; then the cleaning process is stopped
and the green display LED (1) goes out.
• If you want to interrupt the cleaning process, briefly press the “OFF” button (4) and the display
LED (1) goes out. To resume cleaning, press the “ON” button (2) briefly.
• To start another cleaning process, select the cleaning duration again with the “SET” button (3)
ad described above and start the cleaning process with the “ON” button (2).
If a cleaning process was interrupted with the “OFF” button (4), the cleaning duration
can be selected again with the “SET” button (3), if desired.
The maximum cleaning duration (without break) is 30 minutes. Afterwards, a break
of 15 - 30 minutes is necessary for the device to cool down.
• To end the operation of the ultrasonic cleaner and to drain the water from the water tank (or
to replace dirty water with clean water), pull out the power plug from the mains socket.
Remove the cleaned objects.
Pour out the dirty water (e.g., into the drain of a sink).
• Clean the ultrasonic cleaner as described in the following chapter “Maintenance and clean-
ing”.

Operating principle
The product cleans objects using ultrasound waves. While the object is located in the water-
filled water tank of the ultrasonic cleaner, small bubbles form caused by the ultrasound waves.
The “collapse” of these bubbles causes drag, which gently removes the dirt. In this way, areas
that are difficult to reach can be cleaned gently.
Notes on cleaning
• When cleaning glasses or clocks (other objects with sensitive surfaces), make sure that
they do not make contact with the metal surface of the water tank in the ultrasonic cleaner.
Otherwise, they may become scratched.
• The ultrasound waves may cause small screws or other fixings (e.g., of jewels) become loose.
• Only use clear, clean, cold water for cleaning. Only add cleaning agents to the water that
are approved for ultrasonic cleaners. Always observe their instructions for use or dosing and
safety instructions.
• If you want to clean CDs, DVDs or Blu-rays (cleaning duration may 90 seconds), backup their
data before cleaning.
• Objects that are unsuitable for cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner: wood, silver/gold-plated
fashion jewellery, leather, clocks with mechanical clockworks, contact lenses, sensitive mate-
rials, non-water-proof materials.
If in doubt, contact the manufacturer of the corresponding objects; this applies in particular to
valuable objects (e.g., clocks, glasses, jewellery).
