By default, while the Test Set is connected to the Android device, the 1811NG

’s

touch screen is disabled.

Only the “Disconnect Remote” and “Local UI: enable”

buttons are enabled.

To enable the 1811NG’s touchscreen, press the “Local UI: enable” on the Test

Set (refer to Figure E.7). The touchscreen is now enabled despite the remote
being connected. The 1811NG is now controlled via the touchscreen.

The mobile device (remote) will now only mirror the test set, showing
what is taking place on the display; it no longer controls the test set.
