F. Pressure Media
Two internal high reliability electric pumps generate the required pressure and vacuum.
The 4-head vacuum pump is configured to provide each channel (Ps & Pt) with its own
dedicated 2-headed vacuum source. The pressure pump is a single head unit and supplies
both channels (Ps & Pt) with a common pressure supply.
G. Transducers
The Ps channel uses an absolute pressure transducer while the Pt channel uses a
differential pressure transducer.
H. Input Power
Electronic switcher power supply module with auto input voltage detection circuitry for an
A/C input voltage of 100-120/200-240VAC @ 50-60Hz.
I. Fuse Protection
Fuse overload protection is provided by a Miniature Fuse, 5 x 20 mm, Time-Lag T, L, 250
VAC, 4A is installed on the fuse compartment of the power entry module.
Note:
For 200-240 VAC Operation, 5x20 mm, Time-Lag T, L, 250 VAC @ 2A is
recommended.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
A.
With the Barfield 1811NG Pitot and Static ports connected via the hoses (included) and
mating aircraft adapters (not included) to their respective ports on the aircraft, the user is
able to enter pressures or equivalent aeronautical values using the Test Set’s touch screen
input display to drive the aircraft system to the required points of test.
B.
Optionally, the 1811NG Test Set can be controlled using a
Wi-Fi enabled tablet or
cellphone
, either Android or iOS (not supplied), as a wireless remote-control device. Barfield
provides a custom App which is
available as a free download from the Google Play Store and
the Apple App Store.
The tablet/mobile display will exactly mirror that of the tester so that the
transition to remote control is seamless. Please refer to
