5. Mechanical Installation
5.2.3 Preparation for the assembly mounting
What has to be done ?
Prior to the mounting of the assembly (bottom part of the ceiling mount + VR workroom assembly ), one has to mount the cords on
the pulley systems. The cords and pulley system will be used to pull up the projector.
A safety cable has to be attached to the projector frame and to the ceiling mount.
How to mount the cords on the ceiling mount top parts (has to be done for the 2 ceiling mounts)?
1. Slide the cord support in the support holder on the upper support until it locks (image 5-7, image 5-8)
2. Insert the cord on the upper support as illustrated
3. Run the top of the cord through the hole of the fixation bracket for approx. 1m and fix this latter to the main cord by means of the
3 provided clamps. Tighten the clamp screws very strongly to ensure good fixation and for safety.
