8. TROUBLESHOOTING

8.1 No image on the Solaris LD display

Check list:

Situation

Solution

Solaris LD display is not
energized.

1.

Check if the power source is energized.

2.

Check if all circuit breakers of the power box are switched on.

3.

Check the power distribution network of the Solaris LD display.

Solaris D2 digitizer is not
energized.

1.

Check if the digitizer is connected with one of the power branches of the Solaris LD
tiles.

2.

Check if the main switch at the rear of the digitizer is switched on.

Wrong Solaris D2 digitizer settings
in the Solaris LD configuration
software XLite toolset.

1.

Ensure the “Output selection” of the digitizer is set to : “

Barco LED Wall

”.

2.

Ensure that “Start system LED-wall” is set to : “

ON

”.

Wrong timings set for the
Solaris D2 digitizer in the
Solaris LD configuration software
XLite toolset.

See user guide of the Solaris LD configuration software (XLite toolset) to determine the
correct timings or use the wizard in the XLite toolset program.

A video signal with black content
is applied to the selected input
slot of the Solaris D2 digitizer.

Apply another video signal to the selected input slot or select another input slot that
doesn’t contain black content.

LED-wall receives no data signal
from the Solaris D2 digitizer.

Check all data connections between local PC, digitizer and LED-wall.

Malfunction resync-unit of the first
tile in the LED-wall.

Replace the resync-unit of the first tile in the LED-wall.

Malfunction Solaris D2 digitizer.

Replace the Solaris D2 digitizer.
