5. Installation procedures

5.14 Installation of the left and right side cladding

What has to be done ?

The side cladding plates have to be attached upon the previous installed side cladding support brackets. Basically there is no
difference between the two side cladding plates, but one of those is equipped with two small removable plates (covers) which will
allow easy access to the power box and the Solaris D2 digitizer afterwards. So, the side cladding plate with the two covers must be
installed at the side of the display where the power box and digitizer is installed. The installation procedure remains the same for
both cladding plates.

Necessary tools

5 mm hexagon Allen key.

Necessary parts

•

Side cladding plates.

•

8 M6x16 hexagon socket button head cap screws (H).

How to install the left and right side cladding ?

1. Ensure all side cladding support brackets are installed.

2. Ensure all top and bottom cladding plates are installed.

3. Ensure the power box and digitizer are installed at the same side of the display.

4. Ensure all power and data connections are realized.

5. Place the side cladding plate, which contains the small cover plates, against the support brackets at the side of the display where

the power box and digitizer is installed. The side cladding plate must slide over the corner cladding plates at the top and the
bottom of the display. A part of the bottom of the side cladding plate must rest upon the bottom corner cladding. A part of the top
of the side cladding plate fits under the top corner cladding. (image 5-54, image 5-55)

6. Fasten the side cladding plate with four M6x16 hexagon socket button head cap screws (H) to the display.

7. Install the other side cladding plate at the other side of the display in the same way you installed the first side cladding plate.
