2.3 Mounting the (new) analyzer
What has to be done ?
The analyzer must be slided in the cube assembly, between the panel and the glass cube.
4 references are used to position the analyzer assembly with reference to the cube.

:
Bad positioning of the analyzer can give severe convergence errors !
How to mount the analyzer ?
1. Hold the cube with the guide underneath (see image) and slide the analyzer in the X-Cube (image 2-10)
2. Position the analyzer so that the hole in the analyzer frame coincides with the conical pin (ref4)on the Cube frame. At the same
time the analyzer frame must be positioned using the 3 references (ref1, ref2,ref3) on the cube frame (see drawing) (image 2-11,
image 2-12, image 2-13, image 2-14)
3. Place back the locking spring to secure the position of the analyzer (inverse the operations described in : image 2-8).
4. Check the position of the analyser (references), i.e. the position of the metallic frame on the references. If NOK remove the
spring and repeat the procedure.
