4. A dialog box appears in which you can define the
color temperature. You can define the color
temperature in Kelvin units or CIE (x,y) co-ordinates.
In Kelvin units, you can change the color temperature
value from 5000 K to 9900 K.
In (x,y) co-ordinates, you can change the values from
0.250 to 0.360.
Note:
When defining a color temperature in x,y co-
ordinates, it may be possible that the target
luminance
cannot be reached with the given settings
of x,y.
The color temperature, however, will match the given
x,y co-ordinates.
Gamma functions
To select a gamma function:
1. Click the
Settings
button.
2. In the
Main
tab page, you can select a gamma
function from the
Gamma
drop-down box.
You can select from a number of factory-defined and
user-defined gamma functions.
The user gamma functions can be edited in separate files
in the “gam” folder inside the ColorisTalk installation
folder. The values in these files should be tab-separated.
The files must be stored with extension .gam.
White luminance settings
To set the White luminance:
1. Click the
Settings
button.
