1.2 Explanation of terms
1.2.1
45° stop
The 45° stop is a normatively required safety function. When closing the platform, the operator is warned to
ensure that there are no objects/persons at the crushing and shearing points (closing edges). In order to
close the platform completely, the hand-held transmitter must be located close to the system.
1.2.2
Logging in
For signals to be transmitted from the hand-held transmitter to the eBC controller, the hand-held transmitter
must be logged in to the system. No signals are transmitted between the hand-held transmitter and the
receiver without logging in.
1.2.3
EasyPairing
This function enables quick and easy coupling of the Bär SmartControl Plus 2.0 hand-held transmitter
accumulator. This makes it possible to use personalised hand-held transmitters in a fleet.
1.2.4
Basic functions
The basic functions of a Bär Cargolift are lifting, lowering, closing (tilting up) and opening (tilting down). Every
Bär Cargolift has at least this range of functions available.
1.2.5
RSSI value
The RSSI value is an indicator for the reception field strength and is given in dB for the Bär SmartControl 2.0
system. The different radio ranges are defined by this value and may vary depending on the Cargolift type
and mounting location.
1.2.6
PUK
The Personal Unblocking Key, or PUK for short, ensures that only authorised system components can
connect to the overall system.
1.2.7
PUK fleet
The Personal Unblocking Key for fleets, or PUK fleets for short, ensures that only authorised systems can
connect.
1.2.8
Pairing
Pairing refers to the integration of the system component into the system. During pairing, the address of the
system component is stored in the memory of the eBC Controller Pro.
1.3 Target audience
