5.3 Docking station pairing
Before the Bär SmartControl 2.0 docking station is ready for operation, it must be connected to the rest of the
SmartControl 2.0 system. The SmartControl 2.0 system can contain a maximum of one docking station. It is
not possible to pair more than one docking station per system.
Entry
Display
Description
The following prerequisites apply for the pairing of a docking
station:

The system to which the docking station is to be paired is
part of the Cargolift mounted on the truck.

The Truck LiftOptionsBit122 entry is activated in the
configuration file.
-
At least one hand-held transmitter is already paired with
the system.
-
The hand-held transmitter was successfully logged in to
the system using the “Truck” pushbutton.
-
The docking station is installed in the cabin of the truck.
-
The supply voltage is applied to the docking station.
-
The hand-held transmitter is located in the near field.
Press the “Truck” pushbutton 2 x and hold it down.
The green LED illuminates and the first and second red
LEDs flash.
Release the “Truck” pushbutton.
The pairing process can be cancelled by pressing the “Stop”
pushbutton.

The green LED blinks and the first and second red LEDs
flash.
Insert the hand-held transmitter into the docking station.
Pairing successful:
3 red LEDs in the middle of the display illuminate for 0.7
seconds.
A beep sounds from the docking station buzzer.
Pairing not successful:
3 red LEDs blink in the middle of the display.
As soon as the LEDs go out:
Repeat the docking station pairing process.
If a hand-
held transmitter is placed in the docking station, the “5.2 Subsequent hand-held
“ function is not available.
If a docking station has been paired with a SmartControl 2.0 system, registration of the hand-held
transmitter in the entire radio range is possible from this point in time. This is a convenience function
with which simple switching on of the Cargolift is realised. However, operation using the hand-held
transmitter is still not enabled until the hand-held transmitter is within close range.
