First-time setup
When your television is equipped
with the DVB–T/S module and you
switch on the source DTV for the very
first time, you are guided through the
First-time setup sequence.
What’s on the FIRST-TIME SETUP menus …
MENU LANGUAGE …
Select your preferred
language for the menus shown on the screen
from the list of available languages.
COUNTRY …
Select your country from the list of
available countries. This will affect the channels
and stations offered to you by your programme
provider.
POSITIONS – antenna configuration
Make the settings corresponding to your
particular aerial setup.
The default settings for the EDIT POSITION
menu are:
Thor on DiSEqC 1
Sirius on DiSEqC 2
Hotbird on DiSEqC 3
Astra on DiSEqC 4
You can choose different positions, if the ones
offered do not match your setup.
SEARCH …
Now you can make an automatic
search of all enabled positions.
Note: If you do not have a DiSEqC switch and
therefore set both DiSEqC 1 and DiSEqC 2 to 0,
you are asked to check your settings before
searching.
All settings you make during first-time setup can
be changed via the menus at any time.
