4.3.9 CAN BUS

The CAN bus can be found on the left side of the PROVIT 4000 Industrial PC. An INTEL 82527 processor is
used as CAN controller.

The CAN bus is supplied with power either internally or externally. The selection is made with the help of a
switch.
The CAN bus is set to the potential of COM1 which is electrically isolated with internal supply.
An external supply voltage is used on the bus with external supply.
