Preparation

Carefully unpack the laboratory cooler and  accessories and inspect them for completeness
or possible  transportation damages. If any damage or defects are detected, immediately
report this in writing to the forwarding agent and supplier.
Before being put into service, the laboratory cooler should stand at its operating location for
2 hours so that it can adjust to the ambient conditions.

2.2

Setup /  assembly

The LABOCOOL laboratory cooler can be placed in various positions close to the ultrasonic
bath or other vessel to be cooled. The LABOCOOL laboratory cooler is connected
to an ultrasonic bath or other vessel to be cooled by means of a

fl

 exible hose, which

is mounted onto the outlet of the ultrasonic bath. The cooled liquid is returned to the
ultrasonic bath via the supplied mounting clamp, which is attached to the tank edge.

•  Place the laboratory cooler on a

fi

rm, level and dry surface near the ultrasonic bath,

if possible in a spot without direct sunlight. In doing so,

–  observe the maximum weight of the laboratory cooler, including the ultrasonic bath

and  liquid.
For net weight, see technical data in Section 1.4.

–  Observe the minimum distances of at least 10 cm for the  incoming and  outgoing air.

See diagram.

–  Guard against moisture and wetness – risk of electric shock.

•  The laboratory cooler must be positioned so that the power supply can easily

be disconnected.

•  The cover can be removed with the supplied tool and it can be turned and reattached

as desired. This allows the operator to choose the direction of the air

fl

 ow. Operation

without a cover is not permitted.

Important

The inlet of the laboratory cooler must be installed below the level of the liquid.
