Lengthy Out of Service Period
To prevent ironing cylinder corrosion, particularly in the case of out-of-service periods of more
than 1 week, it is important to coat the roller with a layer of paraffin. Proceed as follows:
•
Machine heat off, roller slightly warm (around 105
◦
C or 220
◦
F during the cooling phase)
•
Remove the control panel.
•
Set the roller to rotate slowly.
•
Coat the surface of the roller with the paraffin in successive layers to coat the entire surface
of the roller.
•
Insert a dry piece of laundry around the roller.
