STARTING UP AND REGULATION
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MANUAL BURNER OPERATION.
Combustion may be checked throughout the entire burner operating
range by controlling the equipment manually.
After disconnecting the boiler connector (3) taking signals from the
thermostat line, insert the connector (4) in its place, which is supplied
with the burner.
Use the +/- button to increase or decrease the gas and air flow rate.
After completing the check, reconnect the boiler connector (3) to re
-
store automatic operation.
•
Check that there is water in the boiler and that the gate valves of
the system are open.
•
Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the manufactu
-
rer's requirements and that all electrical connections made at the
installation site are effected properly as illustrated in our wiring
diagram.
•
Make sure that the combustion products may be freely vented
through the boiler and flue dampers.
•
Check that all the gate valves fitted on the fuel suction and re
-
turn pipes are open; the same applies to any other fuel shut-off
devices.
ADJUSTING THE IGNITION POWER
•
Position the first flame air flow rate regulation cam to an opening
angle of 20°-25°. If installed, open the safety valve flow rate
regulator fully.
•
Now turn the switch on. This powers on the control box and the
programmer turns on the burner as described in the chapter
“Operation description”
. During pre-ventilation, make
sure that the air pressure control switch changes its status (from
the closed position without pressure measurement to the closed
position with pressure measurement). If the air pressure switch
does not detect sufficient pressure, the ignition transformer is
not activated (2), therefore the equipment “locks out” (9).
