BURNER CONNECTION TO THE BOILER
For burner handling, use certified chains or ropes suitable for the
burner weight using the anchoring points.
HEAD UNIT ASSEMBLY
The combustion head is packaged separately from the body of the
burner.
Anchor the head unit to the boiler door as follows:
•
Position the insulating seals on the sleeve (13).
•
Anchor the flange of the head unit (15) to the boiler (1) with the stud
bolts, washers and nuts provided (7)
CAUTION / WARNINGS
Completely seal the space between the burner sleeve and the
hole in the refractory material inside the boiler door with suitable
material.
ASSEMBLY OF VENTILATION SYSTEM
•
The burner has an ambidextrous hinge opening for easy access to
the combustion head with fitted burner.
The burner is set as standard with hinge installation on RH side.
•
To enable the maximum opening and so facilitate maintenance
operations, it is recommended to install the hinge pin on the side
opposite to the position where the gas train is installed.
For a correct installation of the ventilating body, follow the procedure
described below:
•
After installing the head group on the boiler, assemble the two hinges
(12) (17), on the buffer, using the screws (21) and the corresponding
washers, without fully tightening them.
•
Position the ventilating body (2) where the two hinges are located.
•
To move the ventilating body, hook the specific chains or ropes (32)
to the eyebolts.
•
Insert pin (10), then lock it using the nuts (23) and the corresponding
washers, taking care that the abutting surfaces of the two hinges
are perfectly in contact with the corresponding surfaces of the scroll.
Do not tighten the nuts (23) excessively, as this may make hinge
rotation difficult.
•
Tighten the centring pin (20) on the fan flange, opposite to the hinge
side.
•
Keeping the chains anchored to the eyebolts, turn the ventilating
body and place the fan flange in contact with the buffer flange,
making sure that the pin (20) is inserted in the corresponding hole.
•
Close the burner using the screws (11) and the corresponding
washers.
•
Once the ventilating body is connected to the head unit, start the
final tightening of the four screws fixing the hinges, then release the
lifting chains or ropes.
•
Connect the tie rod (15) to the gas adjustment throttle control lever
(26).
IMPORTANT
When it is necessary to open the ventilating body, disconnect the
throttle tie rod and the gas solenoid valve connectors .
ACOUSTIC SHROUD
If it is necessary to reduce the sound pressure level, install a suitable
acoustic shroud. (see technical price list and contact the dealer)
