4)
Sections S1 and S2 are calculated for PVC insulated copper conductors, class 5 or higher, at an ambient temperature of 40° C, considering single cables
placed side by side and not wound. Provide for any downgrades in case of different conditions.
The sections of connection cables must be chosen based on the distance from the connection point so that the voltage drop at the burner panel terminals
does not exceed 4% with respect to the nominal value.
5)
The protection devices against overcurrents have been calculated at an ambient temperature of 30° C. Provide for any downgrades in case of different
conditions.
6)
The maximum short-circuit current at the connection point must not exceed the value indicated in the table.
7)
The intervention time refers to the residual current equal to the nominal value IΔ. L'RCD is of instantaneous type (not selective).
Provide for 2 protection devices (one for each line) having the following features:
- DISCONNECTING SWITCH
8
- PROTECTION AGAINST OVERCURRENTS
- DIFFERENTIAL PROTECTION AGAINST INDIRECT CONTACTS (RCD)
The reference values for these devices are shown in the table.
8)
The disconnecting switch must be padlockable in the OFF position.
The burner can be installed only in TN or TT systems. It cannot be installed in IT systems.
The functionality of RCD must be periodically checked following the procedure and the intervals indicated by the manufacturer of the device.
