7.1 Introduction
The following are possible
Aurora H2O
analyzer conditions
with details on how to deal with them.
7.2 Blank display
1. Is the green power led lit?
a Yes - proceed to step 2.
b. No - check the wiring and the fuse
2. Are the four arrow keys illuminated?
a. Yes - If the keys remain illuminated for more
than 12 seconds, the boot loader cannot find
a valid instrument program to run.
b. No - contact the factory for service.
7.3 Display dim or hard to read
1. Adjust the LCD brightness and contrast using the
display/adjust menu.
7.4 Status messages and indicators
The
Aurora H2O
categorizes status messages as either
faults, warnings, or information. Status messages are
displayed in the upper right corner of the display, with
continuous scrolling from right to left for long messages.
• A
fault
is a non-recoverable condition that can affect
the quality of measurement by the
Aurora H2O
. Fault
messages are accompanied by a slow flashing (!)
indicator.
• A
warning
is a recoverable condition that can affect the
quality of measurement by the
Aurora H2O
. Warning
messages are accompanied by a rapid flashing (!)
indicator.
•
Information
messages alert the operator to a condition
that is abnormal, but does not affect the quality of
measurements. Information messages are accompanied
by a slow flashing (i) indicator.
Aurora H2O
fault and status messages are prioritized. In
case of more than one fault/status condition, the condition
with the highest priority is displayed. When that condition is
resolved, the next highest priority condition is displayed.
