9. Start the engine of the rescue vehicle, and let it
run for a few minutes.
10. Depress the accelerator pedal of the rescue
vehicle, so that the rescue vehicle engine speed is
maintained at about 2000r/min.
11. Start the engine of the fault vehicle in the
normal way.
12. After the fault vehicle engine starts, carefully
disengage jumper cables in the reverse order of
connection.
13. Appropriately dispose the dry towel, because
it may be contaminated by corrosive acid
solution.
Caution
●
When connecting or removing jumper
cables, first fully connect or disconnect a
jumper cable, then the other jumper cable,
never cause a short circuit.
●
When removing the jumper cables, first
let the fault vehicle engine idle, to prevent
stalling.
●
When dismantling the jumper cable,
please turn on the blower or rear
windshield heater on electricity-shortage
vehicle, so as to reduce the peak value of
voltage generated in the course of
dismantlement of cable.
Warning
●
The improper use of jumper cable may
cause explosion of battery and serious
injury.
●
The engine compartment is a highly
dangerous area, and improper operation
may cause injury/death accident.
●
Be sure not to directly connect the
negative jumper cable to the negative pole
of faulty battery, otherwise the spark
generated at the moment when the cable is
connected may ignite the flammable gas
generated by battery and thus cause
explosion.
●
Be sure not to connect the negative
jumper cable to any component of fuel
system or brake pipeline, otherwise fire
may occur.
●
In the course of operation, be sure not to
bend over to face the battery, otherwise
you may be burnt by electrolyte.
●
Do not allow open flame get close to the
battery. Otherwise, it will lead to an
explosion.
