Caution
●
If it is difficult start to the engine, do not
let the starter continuously works for more
than 10s when you start the engine. If the
engine cannot be started, start operation
must be stopped, and try to start again
after about 30s, so as to avoid overheating
damage to the starter and battery power
loss.
●
When the ambient temperature is no
higher than -10
℃
, the time used to start
up the engine may increase. Because the
starter needs to operate longer to overcome
the greater running resistance and poor
combustion environment, so you should
turn off all unnecessary electrical
equipment’s when starting.
Shut down the engine
1. Depress the brake pedal and the clutch pedal
(models with manual transmission), park the
vehicle stably, pull up the parking brake, and
place the shift lever to gear "P" or the neutral
position.
2. Turn off the ignition switch or press the
keyless start/stop button once to shut down the
engine, and then release the brake pedal and the
clutch pedal (models with manual transmission)
Caution
●
After engine flameout, the cooling fan
may continue running for some time.
When working in the engine compartment
at this point, you should be careful not to
be wounded by the fan.
●
After operation under large load, it is
recommended let the engine idle for a few
minutes before Flame out, so that the
cooling system continues to operate to
quickly reduce the temperature of the
engine.
Emergency flameout method
Depress the brake pedal, press the keyless
start/stop button twice consecutively within 2s or
long press keyless start/stop button for more than
2s, the engine can be shut down.
Warning
●
Never shut down the engine when the
vehicle is traveling! Otherwise, it may
result in loss of control, thus an accident.
●
After shutting down the engine, the
brake booster does not work, and a larger
force is required to depress the brake pedal
to decelerate the vehicle.
●
When an accident occurs, the vehicle
fuel leakage may occur, so you should
immediately shut down the engine to
prevent fire.
