Accessories, retrofitting
and
microwave window
Before installing accessories or replacement of
parts, be sure to consult with the authorized
dealer of BAIC Motor. We recommend that you
always use the accessories and spare parts
approved by the company.
Improper modification would seriously impair
the performance of the vehicle, and even cause
serious accidents. For example:
●
Installation of larger or smaller wheels will
affect anti-lock brake system (ABS) and the
normal operation of other systems of the vehicle.
●
Modification of steering wheel and other
safety-related facilities may cause system fault.
●
For vehicle equipped with side curtain airbag,
installation of accessories on the side panel
center pillar and across the rear windshield will
hinder the normal work of the side curtain
Warning
●
Improper installation or modification
of accessories may weaken the protective
effect of the airbag system, and even lead
to fatal injuries.
●
Installation of beverage cup holder,
telephone holder, etc. On the housing or
within the scope of the airbag system, they
can cause serious injury during airbag
deployment.
●
Modification of the front portion of the
vehicle may damage the vehicle protection
performance for pedestrians.
●
Do not coat exhaust pipes, three way
catalytic converter, and insulation panel
with protective bottom layer or anti-
corrosion materials, so as not to affect heat
dissipation
It is prohibited to install other high-power
electrical equipment other than the original
vehicle configuration
After the installation of electrical equipment with
power higher than the rated power, fire may be
caused due to heat and short circuit of the harness
caused by too large load
