BAD BOY TRACTOR
STARTING / STOPPING THE ENGINE
ENGINE STARTING
1. Make sure that there is no obstacle
around the tractor.
2. Seat on the driver's seat and confirm
that the parking brake is applied.
3. Check that each shift lever and PTO
switch are in the neutral position.
4. Pull the throttle lever halfway.
5. Insert the key into the main switch
and turn the switch to the "ON" posi -
tion. Check that the engine oil lamp
and charge warning lamp come on.
6. Turn the main switch to the "START"
position. When the engine is started,
release the switch.
7. Confirm that all monitoring lamps go
off after the engine is started.
•
Never start the engine by con-
necting the start motor termi-
nal or safety switch directly.
The tractor may move sudden-
ly and cause an accident.
WARNING
•
The engine will not start unless
the brake pedal is depressed.
•
Do not turn the main switch to
the "START" position while the
engine is running.
•
Avoid running the start motor
over 10 seconds. It consumes a
lot of current.
•
If the engine cannot be started
within 10 seconds, wait for 30
seconds and try it again.
•
The engine cannot be started
unless the driver is seated on
the driver's seat. Start the en-
gine on the driver's seat.
NOTE
•
Do not stop the engine at a high
speed.
•
If the engine has been running
for an extended period of time,
stop the engine only after idling
it for 5 to 10 minutes.
NOTE
1. Idle the engine.
2. Turn the main switch to the "OFF"
position.
3. Remove the key from the switch.
