• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants 

be placed on their back to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your 

physician.

Warnings for Rock-A-Bye Bassinet

 

WARNING:

 Failure to follow these warning and 

the instructions could result in serious injury or death.

FALL HAZARD: 

To help prevent falls, stop 

using the Rock-A-Bye Bassinet when the infant:  

• Begins to wiggle out of position or turn over in the product. 

• Head touches the upper edge of the product. 

• Weighs more than 15 lbs (6.8 kg) (approximately 3 months).

SUFFOCATION HAZARD 

Infants have suffocated:

• In gaps between extra padding and side of the 

bassinet/Rock-A-Bye, and

• On soft bedding

Use only the pad provided by Baby Trend®. NEVER add a 

pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding.

If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by the 

bassinet / Rock-A-Bye bassinet manufacturer or one specially 

designed to fit the dimension of the bassinet / Rock-A-Bye 

bassinet.

 

WARNING:

 Never leave child unattended.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD:

carrier can roll over on soft surfaces and suffocate child.
